Cahwati, a short bio
Born on August 1982 at Banyumas. She is a dancer-choreographer, graduated from Indonesia Arts Institute, Surakarta, in 2005. Besides dancing, she is good vocalist and able to play gamelan.
As a dancer, she has involved in othher choreographer works such as Dedy Luthan (2005), Eko Supriyanto (“Opera Ronggeng”.2004, as assistant choreographer and dancer as well), Rini Endah ( “Membuka Batas” touring, 2005), Sen Hea Ha ( “Infinita”, “Bebrayan”, “Wahyu”, 2005-2007 and TBS Dance touring to the Netherlands, French, Singapore, 2008).
Her choreography works are “Nak” ( 2005 ), “ Rodeo” ( 2003 ), “You and Me” ( 2004 ), “Sang Nak” ( 2005 ), Banjaran Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk ( 2007 ), dan Lengger Dukuh Paruk (2008).
